ABI ISSUES REVISED STATEMENT OF BEST PRACTICE FOR CRITICAL ILLNESS COVER
Revisions to the ABI's Statement of Best Practice for Critical Illness cover includes a new cancer definition to ensure that critical illness cover remains affordable in the light of the Government’s Prostate Cancer Management Programme, and a new heart attack definition to reflect the increasing use of troponin tests in the diagnosis and treatment of heart attacks.
