New ABI critical illness insurance initiative will improve consumer understanding

The ABI has announced all product providers must adopt a new definition for when and in what circumstances life and critical illness cover pays out by April 2007. It also added three new standard illness definitions for Alzheimer’s, HIV and traumatic head injury to its existing list of 20 defined illnesses.
